What's Happening at Camp Kudzu
Welcome, Sarah Hersh, Grant Writer and Development Coordinator
We are so glad Sarah Hersh joined our staff on December 12. Sarah is learning all about Georgia and Camp Kudzu, having moved to Atlanta recently. She is very well versed in philanthropy, raising funds, and writing, with experience in New York City and in Florida.
The Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty, the American Music Center and the University of Florida Foundation have all benefited from Sarah's drive, work ethic, organizational capabilities and attention to detail. She connects well with donors and with colleagues, and has already become a team member during a busy time of year-end fund-raising, reporting and accounting, and with testing of online registration.
Sarah earned her Bachelor of Arts, with many distinctions, in Music at Carleton College in Minnesota. She has her Masters of Arts in Music Composition from the University of Florida's School of Music. Sarah is an accomplished composer. Please join us in making her feel part of the Kudzu community!

Camp Kudzu's programs are life-changing for our campers. They educate our campers, preparing them to be independent in their diabetes self-management. They empower our campers to live their childhoods to the fullest. They inspire our campers to reach for their dreams and never be limited by a life with diabetes.
Immerse your family in the Camp Kudzu Community and raise funds to ensure these programs continue by participating in the (SUPER FUN!) Sugar Bowl! Every camper who raises $600 or more will earn $200 in Kudzu Currency that can be applied to summer camp or weekend camp fees.
