Wrapping up Kudzu’s 20th Anniversary Summer
It’s now Saturday morning and always a difficult day here at Camp Kudzu. Our Last Day of our 2019 Kudzu Summer. As we say goodbyes with emotions running high — we reflect on the amazing memories, life-long friendships made and all the things we learned about ourselves, others and of course T1D.
This marks our 20th Summer as Camp Kudzu and I’m so proud of our incredible volunteer team and staff that pour their hearts into making each day amazing and better than the last. “They are the Magic of Camp Kudzu!”
All of us the Kudzu Team are so grateful for the 65,000+ hours of TIME that our volunteers provide each summer, our incredible medical team and clinicians and we are also grateful for each of our 735 Campers we served this summer.
Remember just how special you are to us and your Kudzu Family – “there is nobody quite like you and you are amazing as you are!” We wish each of you all the best as you start school and/or get back to the regular routine – keep in mind that there is no place like your Kudzu Home and we look forward to tapping our feet and seeing you again for another upcoming Kudzu program and summer!
All of us strive to keep in mind that we are better than yesterday!
We will always remember our best of Kudzu is our Energy-Magic-Inspiration-Love-Inclusive and Excellence!
