2020 Kudzu Challenge Series

The Kudzu Challenge Series is our newest event! Through a combination of events and gatherings hosted by Kudzu, peer-to-peer fundraisers, and community-organized events we hope to empower YOU and inspire others!
Why Support Camp Kudzu?
As you may know, Camp Kudzu and many other organizations have had to postpone or cancel their fundraising events due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Although we are beginning to host more in-person events we are hoping with your support, we can maintain our vital services and programs for our Kudzu Community.
Whether you join your local 5k run or participate in a Kudzu-organized event, we want to support your fundraising efforts to benefit Camp Kudzu! We created the Kudzu Challenge Series with 20/20 Challenges. We were challenging you to pick an activity of your choice (running, swimming, baking, or anything hobby/activity you love) and create a fundraiser in support of Camp Kudzu!
These important community-led fundraisers will ensure Camp Kudzu has a bright future ahead! Supporting our vision of creating a supportive community where life with T1D is without limitations – everywhere Kudzu grows!
Keep a lookout for the next challenge!
Taste of Tucker
A food street festival hosted by Kudzu community members in the Tucker, GA. Proceeds from the event are donated to Camp Kudzu!
Spin For Kids
Every year of our Kudzu Community Members join the Camp Twin Lakes Spin For Kids Cycling event to raise money for Camp Kudzu.
Ironing Man
A few of our community members get together to iron clothes for Kudzu. A few loads of laundry equals big bucks for Camp Kudzu.
How to get involved:
This is an easy challenge for everyone – all ages and abilities. You can take part on your own or with a group of friends and family.
Think of any activity or hobby you have that you can create a fundraiser around!
Step 1: Choose your challenge
Decide on how you are going to get involved. Run a 5K or walk the Appellation trail? A danceathon? Have a bake sale?
Step 2: Take Part
Complete the Interest Form (tell us about your challenge) and create a personalized “Just Giving “Fundraising page.
Camp Kudzu needs your support more than ever. We are striving harder to keep the T1D community covered now and in the years to come, as we grow in new ways and continue to offer our year-round programs. It’s never been more important to come together and show how much Camp Kudzu means to you and your family!
Please contact Danielle Holmes at dholmes@campkdzu.org if you would like to get involved offline or if you have any questions.
