School Nurse Resources
School nurses are an important part of the care of children and teens with type 1 diabetes. Whether you’ve never had a student with type 1 or you’ve had many, Camp Kudzu hopes to be just as much of a resource to you as you are to your students
Created just for school nurses, this page is full of resources including:
- Information about Kudzu programs, including a year-round calendar released late fall each year
- Continuing Nursing Education with FREE contact hours offered several times throughout the year
- Information for families and students you serve, including information for newly diagnosed families
- PDFs of resources for school staff about type 1 diabetes

Continuing Nursing Education
Camp Kudzu is excited to provide FREE Continuing Nursing Education opportunities for Contact Hours for nurses through the Georgia Nurses Association. Kudzu Connect Card
Kudzu Connect Cards allow parents and caregivers to directly connect with Camp Kudzu staff. You can click the links below to download and print a Kudzu Connect Card or to share the Digital Kudzu Connect Card Link and QR Code with families by email.
If you would prefer to have printed copies mailed to your school, please complete to Information Request Form at the bottom of this page.
