Camp Kudzu’s goal is to never turn a child away due to an inability to pay the camp fee. We accomplish this by subsidizing every camper and providing full and partial scholarships to families in financial need. Currently, 40% of campers receive scholarships.
Your partnership will provide financial aid to families in need and help us educate, inspire and empower children and teens living with type 1 diabetes.
I was lost for words and still feel as though there aren’t many words that can truly justify what one sees and experiences when you go through that amazing journey of Camp Kudzu!..Camp Kudzu helps children break free from (impediments and empowers) them with knowledge, education, resources and tools needed to not only conquer and take control of (their) diabetes. It also provides the tools (to help educate) — but also when facing their peers, teachers and others in the community, who unfortunately fail to educate themselves about type 1 diabetes — a disease way more common than we think or want to admit.

Employee Volunteer Opportunities
- Great Days Of Service: Corporate partners are invited to help us get ready for camp! Come to the office to help us load up, assemble folders and supplies, and get everything prepped for upcoming camp sessions. Want to see the impact of camp? Come to the opening day of one or more camp sessions to welcome our campers and families, and help get them checked in! These working projects are a terrific opportunity for team bonding, and employees typically enjoy the chance to get some fresh air and see camp.
