Our exciting summer sessions are in full swing! As you read this, we’ve wrapped up an amazing Teen Adventure week at Camp High Harbour and are in our 2nd summer session at Camp Twin Lakes. Check out some of our favorite pictures below to see our memories in the making.
There’s a certain “magic” that goes into the Camp Kudzu experience. We get to see lives changed for the better every single year, and we know that wouldn’t happen without our passionate and dedicated volunteers. This month, our Camp Spotlight features Jordana Heaven, one of our veteran volunteers that has been with us every year since the very first Camp Kudzu summer. Yes, every summer for the past 20 years!
We continue to celebrate this milestone year with various events for our families, volunteers, and former campers! Make sure you save the date for December 7th as we plan our pinnacle celebration event at the Stave Room (ASW). Keep an eye out for more information, and please contact Jessica Martinez if you wish to join our Planning Committee Team.
We also want to express our gratitude to our Golf Committee for helping us organize another successful 15th Annual Kudzu Cup FORE! Kids on May 20th! Thanks to the generosity of our participants and sponsors, we collectively have raised more than $1.2 million since our first tournament at Stone Mountain.
One of my favorite things about this time of year is the privilege to see many of you in person. Whether you’re coming as a camper, a volunteer, or dropping someone off, please say hello. I love to hear Kudzu memories, stories and share in your family’s excitement.
